Tour Game of Thrones Filming Locations in Northern Ireland

Bantis zobrie issa se ossȳngnoti ledys – The night is dark and full of terrors.

The beloved Game of Thrones is beautifully crafted and quite possibly the best television show ever produced. From the lush gardens in Dorne to the stormy Iron Islands the production team does a fantastic job scouting the world to depict the great lands of Westeros. We were grateful enough to visit some of the filming locations while in Northern Ireland with McComb’s Coach Travel. Visit real life Westeros below…

Pyke Harbour filmed in Ballintoy Harbour: Where Theon Greyjoy first returned to the Iron Islands and met his sister Yara.

Obviously the real life locations look completely different than in the show. Game of Thrones heavily use CGI and makes these already beautiful places even more fascinating. Although GOT is filmed in many places around Europe, if you ever find yourself in Northern Ireland book a tour with McCombs Coach Travel to see these places for yourself.

Tour Information:

McCombs Game of Thrones Tour- https://www.mccombscoaches.com/tours/game-of-thrones-tour

£35 per person, Begins at 9am everyday

I highly recommend booking this tour because not only do you get the ultimate GOT experience you also make stops at the famous Carrick-a-Rede Bridge and Giant’s Causeway! See you in Westeros…
